The Clark County Fair Association started the Scholarship Fund in 1988 with intent to provide funds to local 4-H, FFA and Open Class fair participants to attend a college, university, trade or vocational institution of their choice. Over the past 30 years, the Fund has distributed over $550,000 to more than 350 students. Currently, the fund distributes $30,000 to 10–15 students annually.
If you have been an EXHIBITOR at the Clark County Fair and are interested in applying for a scholarship, the applications are available online or at local schools beginning in December of each year. The deadline for these applications is March 1, 2019. The selections are made in April and the recipients will be notified immediately and will be invited to participate in a presentation at the Clark County Fair in August.
